Account deletion

Delete Your ReSell Account

ReSell provides an in-app deletion option and this external deletion resource.

Delete in the app

1. Open ReSell Marketplace.

2. Sign in.

3. Open Profile.

4. Open the Menu.

5. Select Account.

6. Select Delete Account and confirm.

The deletion action is permanent for the ReSell account and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

Email resell21126@gmail.com from the email address associated with your ReSell account.

Use the subject:

ReSell Account Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your ReSell username
  • Your public ReSell User ID, if known
  • A statement that you want the account and associated data deleted

We may request reasonable verification before processing the request so another person cannot delete your account.

Data normally deleted or de-identified

Deletion initiates removal or de-identification of data such as:

  • Account access and authentication records no longer needed for security
  • Profile information and profile photo
  • Listings and listing media
  • Stories and events created by the account
  • Favorites and user preferences
  • Public reviews created by the account, subject to transaction integrity and legal needs
  • Push tokens and active sessions
  • Other active user content controlled by ReSell

Deletion from backups and service-provider systems may take additional time through standard retention cycles.

Data that may be retained

ReSell may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for:

  • Fraud, spam, abuse, and account-evasion prevention
  • User reports, evidence, moderation history, and safety investigations
  • Legal obligations, lawful requests, and legal claims
  • Financial, tax, accounting, purchase, refund, chargeback, and store reconciliation
  • Security logs and backup integrity
  • Protecting another user’s transaction, message, or review record

Retained information is limited to the relevant purpose and is not used to keep the deleted account active.

Messages or content already received, copied, or saved by another user may remain with that user. ReSell may de-identify some conversation or transaction context rather than delete another user’s legitimate record.

Subscriptions and purchases

Deleting ReSell does not cancel subscriptions billed by Apple or Google.

Cancel recurring subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund for subscriptions or one-time paid features.

Timing and confirmation

We process verified requests as reasonably soon as practical. Complex safety, legal, or purchase issues may require additional review. You may contact us for status.
