ReSell is an adult local marketplace built around lawful secondhand commerce, respectful communication, accurate listings, and user safety. These Guidelines apply to listings, profiles, usernames, photos, stories, events, reviews, messages, advertisements, reports, and all other activity.

1. Core rules

  • Be truthful.
  • Follow the law.
  • Respect privacy and consent.
  • Do not endanger, exploit, harass, or deceive anyone.
  • Do not sell, request, promote, or arrange prohibited items or services.
  • Do not evade blocks, restrictions, reports, or moderation.
  • Use paid features honestly and do not imply guarantees ReSell does not provide.

2. Adults only

Users must be at least 18 years old. Do not create an account for a minor or use ReSell to contact, groom, exploit, or endanger minors.

3. Prohibited goods and services

You may not list, request, advertise, trade, arrange, or message about:

Weapons and dangerous materials

  • Firearms, receivers, frames, gun parts, gun kits, ammunition, magazines, silencers, suppressors, or weapon accessories intended to facilitate harm
  • Explosives, fireworks, detonators, bombs, incendiary devices, or explosive precursors
  • Disguised weapons, prohibited knives, or items marketed for assault
  • Hazardous chemicals, poisons, radioactive materials, unsafe pesticides, or biological hazards
  • Instructions primarily intended to construct weapons or cause harm

Drugs, medication, alcohol, nicotine, and regulated substances

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription drugs, controlled pharmaceuticals, prescription-only devices, or diverted medical products
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco, nicotine, vapes, e-liquids, or related age-restricted products
  • Products marketed with unlawful medical, drug, or intoxication claims

Stolen, counterfeit, infringing, recalled, or unsafe goods

  • Stolen property or items you lack authority to sell
  • Counterfeit goods or replicas presented as authentic
  • Pirated software, stolen accounts, unauthorized access credentials, or illegal license keys
  • Goods that infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights
  • Recalled, contaminated, expired, or unsafe goods where resale creates risk or violates law

Sexual content and exploitation

  • Pornography, explicit sexual content, sexual services, or sexual solicitation
  • Non-consensual intimate content
  • Sexualized content involving minors
  • Child sexual abuse material
  • Grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or coercion

Animals, gambling, and other restricted activity

  • Live animals
  • Gambling services, betting, lottery schemes, or prohibited gambling devices
  • Fraudulent financial services, money laundering, stolen payment instruments, or deceptive investment offers
  • Malware, spyware, credential theft, hacking services, or malicious instructions
  • Any item or service prohibited by applicable law or store policy

4. Violence, hate, self-harm, and extremism

Do not post or send:

  • Threats, intimidation, stalking, or glorification of violence
  • Hate speech or attacks based on protected characteristics
  • Extremist recruitment, propaganda, praise, or operational support
  • Encouragement or instruction for self-harm or suicide
  • Graphic content intended to shock, harass, or celebrate real-world harm

Safety-oriented discussion, news, or support content may still be removed if unsuitable for a marketplace.

5. Harassment and abusive behavior

Do not bully, shame, pressure, sexually harass, repeatedly contact, dox, impersonate, threaten, or retaliate against another user. Respect blocks and requests to stop contact.

Do not create new accounts, use friends, or use public content to bypass a block.

6. Fraud, scams, and deception

Do not:

  • Post fake, unavailable, duplicate, bait-and-switch, or misleading listings
  • Misrepresent item condition, brand, authenticity, ownership, price, fees, location, or availability
  • Phish for credentials or sensitive information
  • Demand suspicious deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or advance payments
  • Impersonate a person, business, charity, school, authority, or ReSell staff member
  • Create fake reviews, fake engagement, fake impressions, fake clicks, or coordinated ranking manipulation
  • Use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, or deceptive behavior to manipulate paid or organic visibility

7. Privacy and personal information

Do not post or request:

  • Passwords, verification codes, Social Security numbers, government IDs, or financial credentials
  • Exact home addresses unless privately and safely necessary for a legitimate transaction
  • Another person’s private messages, phone number, email, workplace, school, medical information, or location without authorization
  • Images or recordings taken or shared without required consent

Use ReSell’s approximate location features and move sensitive logistics to a trusted context only when necessary.

8. Listing standards

Listings must:

  • Describe one real, available, lawful item or permitted group of items
  • Use photos you own or are authorized to use
  • State an honest price and condition
  • Avoid irrelevant keywords and spam
  • Avoid off-platform promotional links or unrelated commercial advertising
  • Use an approximate safe public location
  • Be removed or marked sold when no longer available

9. Messages

Messages must relate to a lawful marketplace purpose and remain respectful. No spam, mass outreach, sexual content, threats, scams, prohibited-item negotiation, sensitive-data requests, or pressure to move off-platform for unsafe purposes.

10. Stories and events

Stories and events must follow all content rules.

Event creators must provide accurate dates, times, locations, capacity, organizer information, and material restrictions. Do not create fake events, unsafe gatherings, illegal sales, discriminatory access rules, or events intended to lure, exploit, or defraud users.

Do not use stories for prohibited sales, targeted harassment, graphic content, misinformation intended to cause harm, or repetitive advertising spam.

11. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine eligible interaction. Do not:

  • Review yourself or coordinate reciprocal fake reviews
  • Offer money, discounts, gifts, threats, or retaliation for a rating
  • Include hate, threats, private information, irrelevant disputes, or demonstrably false allegations
  • Review a person for characteristics unrelated to the transaction

ReSell may remove reviews and adjust rating summaries to protect integrity.

12. Sponsored listings, ReSell Pro, and profile badges

Sponsored placement and ReSell Pro visibility do not permit prohibited content and do not guarantee a sale.

Do not:

  • Sponsor an unlawful, unavailable, misleading, or counterfeit item
  • Generate artificial impressions or clicks
  • Claim that ReSell endorses or guarantees a sponsored seller
  • Describe a paid profile badge as identity verification, background verification, authenticity verification, or a safety guarantee

Paid status never exempts a user from moderation.

13. Intellectual property

Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Rights holders may contact resell21126@gmail.com with enough information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content, and their authority to act.

14. Reporting and blocking

Use in-app tools to report listings, profiles, messages, stories, events, reviews, or other content. Include accurate details and evidence where available.

Block users who are abusive or unwanted. False, retaliatory, automated, or coordinated reports are prohibited.

For an immediate threat, contact local emergency services before contacting ReSell.

15. Enforcement

ReSell may:

  • Remove, hide, preserve, or limit content
  • Reduce visibility or remove promotional placement
  • Restrict messaging, stories, events, reviews, listings, paid tools, or account access
  • Suspend or permanently disable accounts
  • Preserve relevant reports, evidence, messages, transaction records, and moderation history
  • Refer matters to app stores, payment providers, rights holders, or authorities when appropriate

Severe violations may result in immediate permanent action. Repeated violations, evasion, or failure to correct behavior may lead to escalating enforcement.

We aim to review credible safety reports promptly, but response times vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

16. Appeals and mistakes

To request review of a moderation decision, email resell21126@gmail.com with your ReSell User ID, relevant content or report information, and a clear explanation. Abusive or repetitive appeals may be limited.

17. Safe transaction guidance

  • Meet in a public, well-lit location
  • Tell someone where you are going
  • Bring another person when practical
  • Inspect the item before paying
  • Avoid advance deposits to unknown users
  • Do not share sensitive personal information
  • Leave if anything feels unsafe
  • Contact emergency services for immediate danger
